¿"BUEN PROVECHO" EN INGLÉS?
Nov 23, 2022The UK has never really been famous for the quality of its food. In fact, in many cases it has been famous for the exact opposite. This is, slowly but surely, changing and now you can eat good quality food all around the UK but, of course, food will never have the same importance as it does in Spain.
It should come as no surprise therefore that the English do not really have a good translation of "buen provecho". There are two options: the first is "enjoy your meal" which is used more in the US than the UK and the second option is "bon appetite". Clearly stolen from the French!
Hope that helps!
